Rose Hill Plantation State Historic Site presents "Plantation Children", a day-camp style event for children ages 8-15.

The Union County Recreation Department will be holding Youth Cheerleading & Football Registration beginning Monday, July 14, 2008 through Friday, August 1, 2008. Registration Hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm during those dates. There will be 2 age divisions:
Flag Cheerleading/Football
Ages 6-9 yrs old
Flag Football Fee: $20.00
Flag Cheerleading Fee: $35.00 (includes uniform)
Stinger Cheerleading/Football
Ages 10-12 yrs old
Stinger Football Fee: $50.00
Stinger Cheerleading Fee: $45.00 (includes uniform)
Participants in Flag can not have turned 10 before September 1, 2008 and participants in Stinger can not turn 13 before September 1, 2008. Parents should bring the child’s Birth Certificate and Proof of Medical Insurance in order to sign up.
Fees must be paid at time of registration.
Late Registration will be held August 4-8, 2008. There will be a $10.00 late fee added to regular registration fee during late registration week. For more information call

AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Union County Recreation Department is now enrolling children 5-12 yrs old for our After-School Program for the year 2008-2009. The program offers an all around nurturing environment to promote social, physical and intellectual development and outlets for creativity through homework assistance, arts, crafts, recreational games, snack time, guest speakers, field trips and much more. Children are picked up from Buffalo Elementary, Foster Park Elementary, Monarch Elementary, and Excelsior Middle School. Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. A $20.00 registration fee is charged upon registering. Hours of operation are 2:30pm-6:00pm. A weekly fee of $40.00 is charged per child. No discounts on multiple children.
