The Union County Building Superintendent and his staff are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all County buildings including the historic Union County Courthouse, the County Jail, Veteran's Affairs Office, Assessor's Office, and other buildings.  In addition, the Superintendent oversees general landscaping of public grounds surrounding County buildings.  The Superintendent also supervises major repair or construction projects contracted to third parties on behalf of the County.
