• Council On Aging
  Delegated by the Union County Council to assist the elderly of Union County with nutrition, transportation, and other basic human needs. 
   

• Commission On Alcohol & Drug Abuse
  Seven member Commission with members serving three year appointments.  The Commission is authorized to develop and submit to County Council for approval of a comprehensive County alcohol and drug abuse plan.  The plan must be in accordance with South Carolina law, be consistent with the South Carolina State Plan on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and be inclusive of all alcohol and drug abuse programs operating in the County and other duties as prescribed in the ordinance.
